The City of Hull Athletic Club aims to encourage male and female runners of all abilities, over the age of sixteen, to enjoy the pleasures of both running and feeling fit by providing a social and competitive running environment.

The club currently has approximately 204 members, of which 70 are ladies, and is always looking to increase this number. New members are more than welcome. We organise training sessions, social events and the club is represented in a number of local competitive races.

We organise two open races each year, the Ferriby10 Road Race in January and Humber Bridge 10K in May. The club also organises the annual Champagne League, a series of 10 races from April to July each year taking in some of the most spectacular scenery in the East Riding area - this is open to running club members only.

In the winter the club organises a winter league on the first Tuesday of each month from October to March, this is a 3 mile handicapped race at the Humber Bridge. Also in the winter the club is represented in the East Yorkshire Cross Country League.
