One of the the region's most famous 10-mile races, this undulating (and challenging!) route takes runners through East Yorkshire villages and country roads on a scenic January morning.

The race starts at 9am on Sunday 28th January 2024.
From the 2022 race there will be a cut off of 2 hours 30 minutes for completing the race.
If you wear headphones you will be disqualified
Transfering your entry. For those unfortunate enough to be unable to take part and wish to transfer their entry, this has to be done no later than two weeks before race day (final cutoff - 14th January). Check the email that you received when you entered, that will contain all the information how to do it. This is normally sent within 2 to 3 weeks of the race opening for entries. If you can't find it remember to check your deleted/spam/junk folder, you are looking for an email from noreply@sportsentrysolutions.com.
After Race Cafe. Some sandwiches and hot drinks will be available at cost in the school youth club as maked on the map of the school. (Coffee Cup Icon)
Awards for the race with be announced in the cafe at the school from approximately 11:30 onwards.
Race Packs. These will be posted out approximately 10 days before race day. If you have not recieved your race pack by the week before race starts contact the SportsEntrySolutions by email first. If you are unfortunate enough to still not have recieved your race pack before race day, don't panic. Bring ID and proof of purchase to the race HQ by 9am and we should be able to get you sorted.
Results These can generally be found in our results section a day after the race, if you have given your mobile number when entering the race you should also recieve a text message. Results are also available as they happen from sportstimingsolutions webpage.

The route starts on the approach road to the Skidby Mill, turning left through Skidby over the top to Little Weighton following the road round onto Westoby Lane where the water station is sited at approximately the half way point. The route then turns left in Rippligham down towards Raywell, turning left at Waudby Green, then along Eppleworth Road back to Skidby Mill via a final steep climb (save something for that).
PLEASE DO NOT PARK NEAR THE START/FINISH AREA or in the area marked in purple as this is the race route.
Please park at the school. It is a 20 min walk to the start / finish area (Faster if you jog/run!)
Try not to park in the area marked in Green, this is a narrow lane which quickly clogs up with people and traffic. There's plenty of parking at the school, you're atheletes, use the walk to warm up/cool down!

In 2016, the race sold out in 6 days. 2017 in 12hrs!! In 2019 it sold out in under 2 hours. In 2022 entries were fully sold within 24 hours. This race will sell out quickly!
