So why hill training?
"Running up hills forces the knees to lift higher, one of the most desirable developments for any runner, because this governs stride speed and length, It also develops the muscle fibres, increasing power."
So that's why here's how.

All sessions usually take no more than 30min plus the approx 2 mile warm up / cool down and natter at the end!
The routes/circuits.
Half Moon pub in Elloughton HU15 1HU where we jog approx 2 mile to our starting hill.
Hessle Foreshore in the Black windmill car park
Beverley Westwood meeting by the ice cream van / Champagne league HQ point

Various distance runs from 5 to 8 miles with a chance to do extra if you want.
Run by qualified endurance coach Derek Ricketts with all abilities catered for. Track fees payable on the night.
It's ideal training for the Champagne League Various distance runs from 3.5 to 8.5 miles with a chance to do extra if you want.
Relaxed to moderate pace cross country run with a variety of 5-9-mile routes over 60-90 minutes.
Hill session for all abilities. Each week the hill work will be different and published in advance on Facebook.
Distances of 8-12 miles. Meeting at Beverley Clump, top of the hill out of South Cave.
